Slow Your Roll, Summer Solstice
Happy almost Summer Solstice (and Juneteenth! and Father's Day!)
By the way, I don't think it's an accident that these celebrations fall together like this.
We're in the Sun's heyday.
Yang is about to reach its pinnacle before we move into the darker, slower, Yin time of year.
Masculine energy is flourishing (Father's Day). Power is shifting (Juneteenth).
We're at the midpoint of the year.
This is a high energy time and it won't last for long.
Did you make goals or set intentions in January?
I know I did.
How are you doing with those?
Me? Eh, barely scratching the surface, to be honest.
The lesson? Be less lofty and sprawling in my expectations of myself. Celebrate everything I've done and learned, however small. Every little move counts.
Now is a great time to revisit your New Year’s goals.
Tell me, with six months left, what is the one thing you must do with your wild & precious year? *
What do you need to prioritize for the rest of the Summer so that the Autumn Equinox can feel sweet and restful?
So that you can really honor the move into Yin times?
